- Traditional fire lighting kit with high carbon steel striker, flint, char cloth and jute fibre tinder
- Knapped English flint. It’s important that the flint is knapped becasue this provides a sharp edge needed to strike against the steel
- Char cloth 8cm by 5cm
- Directions…. Hold the flint in your left hand if right handed and vice versa if left handed. Strike the edge of the steel down the edge of the flint. Aim the sparks onto a small section of the char cloth and it’ll light. Use the jute fibre to build up the heat from the char cloth.
