The Crystal 600 flux system has been specially developed for soldering tasks in the field of manual soldering. Due to its properties, this solder wire is also suitable for use in soldering robots. Although weak and halogen-free activated, this solder wire ensures fast and safe wetting on most surfaces as used in modern electronics manufacturing. All low oxidised, well solderable metal surfaces such as copper, brass or even tinned surfaces are suitable for safe soldering joints. The Crystal 600 solder wire leaves low, transparent and electrically highly safe residue on the soldering point. as Wire Flux Crystal 600 is a halogen and rosin free flux and is based on a synthetic resin matrix. Therefore, this wire can be classified as REL0 according to the J-STD-004. Due to its high thermal stability, the crystal 600 flux is very suitable for use with all lead-free alloys. The resin system in this flux has been developed to combine fairly small quantities of transparent residues with the highest electrical safety. To take advantage of all the benefits of the Stannol product range, we provide the Crystal 600 in the Flowtin and SN100C alloys, which are made exclusively with Fairtin.
