Fitting1. This seal is generally very easy to replace – simply pull out old seal and press new one into place2. With old seal out, push new seal into gasket groove starting from top centre of frame3. Continue working all way around back to top centre of frame4. Care must be taken at each corner of frame to ensure that that seal properly locates5. Never stretch gasket while fitting or it will pull back leaving gap over timeTips:Measure around unit and add approximately 6cm to length required before cutting gasket to avoid cutting too shortFor best weather performance when fitting, start in middle at top of door/window so seal is in one continuous piece at bottom where most water/draught penetration occurs.
