STUK professional plasterboard scrim tape is a heavy duty product that is predominantly used to join sheets of plasterboard together, allowing for a skim over the top. It also works as a crack repair tape. Joining plasterboard sheets – a good builder requires a good scrim tape. STUK plasterboard scrim offers a heavy weight cross weave scrim married to a strong adhesive, combining good initial tack to keep it in place, followed by long term adhesion. The open scrim allows the plaster skim to work through and provide a smooth finish to the structure. The tape can be painted and wallpapered. As a crack repair tape, a small piece of tape can be applied to a crack, and then skimmed, or the crack can be filled and then taped over. This application is suitable for wallpapering, but not so good for walls that will be painted. STUK professional plasterboard scrim tape is a full 90 metre trade roll, and 48mm wide.
