Gelcoat – is designed to go into a mould e.g. for boat building. It remains tacky after it cures so fibreglass is generally applied onto the gelcoat to provide the structural element of the mould, allow it cure and form a hard surface.

- Gelcoat is optimised for using with moulds- The Gelcoat is applied to a mould, it deliberatly stays TACKY so you can then add re-enforcemnets like fibreglass. Once the item is extracted from th emould , the gelcoat layer is now the outer layer and is touch dry and smooth ( Assuming a good mould )
- Supplied with MEKP herdener.
- WARNING – This gelcoat is a polyester resin based product – It has a very powerful and pungent smell ( until fully cured ) similar to ALL polyester resin products,
