The robust 1600XCD shredder has a maximum 16-sheet cutting capacity (based on new 80gsm paper) and will shred an A4 sheet into 400 tiny 4 x 39mm pieces through its wide 220mm feed slot. Despite its very rapid 2.4m/minute shredding speed, it has a very low 57dB noise level. The 1600XCD also has a large 29.0-litre slid-out bin, big enough to hold approximately 410 shredded sheets before it requires emptying.
