Tangit Uni-Lock – thread for sealing hydraulic joints with conical or cylindrical thread
Tangit Uni-Lock is a sealing thread for clean and durable work on pipes and threaded joints. Unlike hemp wire, dirt and long time of use, Uni-Lock sealing wire, water-resistant, for metal and pvc, is easy, quick to use and very durable. The wire can be removed and put back for optimal result. Adapts to the thread of the joints with a better grip than a regular sealing tape. Tangit Uni-Lock is for threaded joints up to 4” in diameter, in metal (steel, stainless steel, cast iron, etc.) or in plastic (PVC-U, PVC-C, PP, PE). Areas of application: hot or cold drinking water (up to 16 bar with a temp. max. temperature of 85 ° C), hot water (up to 7 bar with a temp. max. 130°C), gas lines (up to 5 bar with temp. -20°C to +70°C), natural gas, liquid gas, condensed gas, compressed air.
Use: The metal thread should be cleaned with a brush. Place the thread sideways on the thread, then wrap the thread in the direction of the thread, starting from the beginning of the thread. For optimal performance, the thread should not be wound directly into the thread. The wire can be cut with the built-in accessory. Be sure to stretch well on the thread for a firm grip.
