When pitching tents and tarpaulins, straighten the poles to provide maximum strength to support large tarpaulins, tents and hexagonal shades, and most importantly, withstand strong winds in campsites near mountains and beaches. Pitch the pole at an angle of about 90 degrees perpendicular to the ground for best performance.
Keep poles away from the sand and soil. Store the poles in a carry sack when disassembling the tarp instead of throwing it to the ground. Especially if the terrain is steep or rocky, it can scratch the coating on the surface of the pole.
In the event of unexpected strong winds or rain, lower height of the tarp, and check and secure the rope.
