This advent calendar is the perfect gift for crossword-enthusiasts, and just like a normal advent calendar it contains numbered windows to open on the day that corresponds to the number, starting with December 1 and ending with December 24. Inside each window you will find a crossword puzzle to solve, and to give your December crossword-solving a purpose, we have created a points system. Your goal is of course to try to get as many points as possible by solving as many puzzles as you can – without cheating. - All puzzles are designed by experienced crossword creators featured in publications like The New York Times, The Los Angeles Times, and The Guardian and are meant to be fun and challenging for a broad audience.
- The puzzles generally follow the typical rules for American-style crosswords, but to shake things up a little, not all crosswords are square-shaped. The puzzles also come in different sizes, ranging from 9 x 8 to 12 x 12 squares. Solutions to the crosswords are included on a special folded (and spoiler-safe sheet), and are also available online. The size of the calendar is 8.5 x 25.4 (21.5 x 64.5 cm) when unfolded, and 8.5 x 14 (21.5 x 35.5 cm) folded.
- If youre relatively new to crosswords, its possible the hardest ones will leave you completely stumped but dont worry, next days crossword will probably be easier.
