Colour Shapers are essential tools for artists of all kinds, and can be used similar to a paint brush to blend, apply or remove colour and to apply mediums such as masking fluid. They can also be used to apply solvent paints, such as for glass and ceramic colour, without leaving brush strokes. In pastel and charcoal drawing, shaper tools are a way of blending colour without the mess, and with absolute precision and control. Each tool has a different tip shape; flat chisel, tapered round, angle chisel, round cup and chisel cup. The cupped shapes are particularly useful in moving and controlling thicker paints, such as oil colour. Each tool measures approx 15.7 cm with a tip width of 3 mm.
