(CD + DVD set) This very special edition is a tribute to Sergey Kuryokhin who died on July 9th, 1996, twenty years ago. It was recorded at the State Moscow Conservatoire by a huge orchestra conducted by Alexei Aigui who arranged Kuryokhin’s music for such a great gathering of musicians who used to take part in Kuryokhin’s Pop-Mechanicas. Disc 1 (CD) is about 70 minutes long and consists of Kuryokhin’s music. Disc 2 is a DVD of the entire concert which is about two hours long, the first part being Alexei Aigui’s music, the second part is Kuryokhin’s music. This is both historic and history-making edition, a monument to the man whose spirit lives through his music.
