With no new wires or cables, within range of their existing wireless network, users can easily extend wireless coverage at a push of the WPS button on their router and the Range Extender button on your TL-WA850RE within 2 minutes to easily connect to the network. An additional push of the pair button can quickly establish an encrypted connection with client devices.
The TL-WA850RE’s single Ethernet port allows the Extender to function as a wireless adapter to connect wired devices like Blu-ray players, gaming consoles, DVRs and Internet TVs. At the same time, the device can share the wireless network as well.
Note:• Please place the range extender half way across the router where you get at least 50-60% of good Wi-Fi coverage from your main router The RE LED status on the range extender gives you that information after proper setup. • Customer can also factory reset the range extender and configure it back again to the router, making sure it is configured properly. • During the setup process, customizing the SSID of the Range extender different to the main router SSID mostly helps distinguish between the main router’s wireless signal to range extender’s wireless signal. • Also make sure the range extenders firmware is up to date.
