TYROLIT – Cutting discs for steel – Cut-off wheels for stationary cutting machines The BASIC* cut-off wheel for steel can be used to cut workpieces with large cross-sections, as well as solid material and profiles. The internal reinforcement and rough side surfaces enable low burr cutting of workpieces. As with all TYROLIT BASIC* cut-off wheels, this tool has been optimised to achieve excellent cutting ability and lifetime. TYROLIT offers two types of cut-off wheel for this application. Firstly, cut-off wheels with reinforcement that can be used to cut profiles, pipes and solid material. Secondly, non-reinforced cut-off wheels for laboratory cutting, for cutting and saw sharpening, and for cutting high speed steel. Our products in particular offer you the ultimate performance and lifetime, very clean cutting areas and low thermal load.
