This Vaessen Creative Florence watercolour paper sketchbook is a pad with high-quality art paper that makes an ideal base for painting, drawing, sketching and creating stunning artwork.
The paper sheets have a thickness or weight of 300 Grams per Square Meter or GSM. This thickness ensures that the paper absorbs water well, giving you the perfect canvas for all of your creations. Thanks to the textured surface finish, with a noticeable tooth, the sheets are perfect to use for both wet as dry watercolour techniques, working well with both diluted and undiluted mediums and hold pigments fantastically.
This watercolour pad is glued along all four sides which eliminates the need for stretching the paper before painting. Create your painting before removing any sheets. Because the 4 edges are glued down, the paper will stay nice and flat. Once your artwork has dried, it can be removed. The sheet underneath is clean and ready for use. To remove a sheet, insert an X-Acto knife, palette knife, or letter opener between the sheets and gently run the knife around the edge of the paper.
The watercolour paper sheets can be used with acrylic paint, watercolour paints, brush pens, markers, pencils, fine liners, crayons and ink.
Vaessen Creative Florence Watercolour Paper is suitable for professional artists and crafters of all ages. The sheets can be easily cut down to size if you’re working on a smaller project like postcards for example. The paper is off-white coloured, which gives it a slightly warmer tint than white.
The durable off-white paper is made out of 100% cellulose fibre pulp from controlled wood sources. The paper is also acid and lignin-free, meaning it is more durable and won’t yellow.
