- PROTECTS DURING TRANSPORT: The roof straps protect e.g. your kayak or SUP board from annoying scratches when tightened on a car roof rack with a underlaid foam (neoprene) pad and plastic-coated cambuckle.
- DATA AND CERTIFICATION: The cam buckle straps are 6 meters long and the strap is 35mm wide. Tested according to european norm DIN EN 12195-2 (allows commercial use in Europe). Strapping tensile force 800Kg – straight tractive force 400Kg. The webbing is made of sturdy polyester.
- WHY CAMBUCKLE?: Because pulling the strap rather than ratcheting like with ratchet straps lessens the chance of damaging valuable cargo
- APPLICATION: The paddle board straps are perfect for securing a canoe or a stand up paddle board. The surf straps have a bevelled strap end, which simplifies threading into the cambuckle. The attached strap is elastic and sewn with hook and loop rolled-up lashing strap can therefore be held together and can be stowed in the boot.
- INSTRUCTIONS: 1. hold and open the cambuckle between thumb and forefinger | 2. insert the end of the cam strap from below without twisting. | 3. pull the tie down strap through and tighten it | 4. important: do not lift, only lash and do not load above the permissible working strength.
