The adjustment range is from 5℃ to 45℃, which is contact type heat transfer. and plants are not harmed by normal use. The heating mat warms plants root area 10℉ to 20℉ above ambient temperature. Note: The controller is designed to have a buffer zone of 2-3 degrees before turning back on after reaching the set temperature.
