WEICON Contact Primer 100ml enables the bonding of difficult-to-glue plastics PROPERTIES & APPLICATION Many plastics cannot be bonded without prior treatment, or only to a limited extent. The pretreatment of these plastics with WEICON Contact Primer results in a change of the surface structure. This makes it possible to bond plastics that are otherwise difficult to bond, e. g. polyethylene (PE) and polypropylene (PP) from the polyolefin group. Modern thermoplastic elastomers (TPE), PTFE and related plastics as well as silicones can also be bonded after pretreatment with WEICON Contact Primer. PROCESSING Apply a thin coat of paint or spray to the surfaces to be bonded and allow to flash off briefly. Apply cyanoacrylate adhesive and join parts together. STORAGE Storage Keep away from sources of ignition – Do not smoke. Take measures against electrostatic charging. Keep container tightly closed and in a cool, well-ventilated place.
