This is part of the 2019 UK Castle series which comprises of five different designs – available exclusively and only in limited quantities. Each coin depicts a different UK Castle and has a map of the British Isles to the reverse detailing the locations of each. This high quality, solid metal coin features intricate detailing throughout with fully embossed designs to both sides. My photos really do not do the item justice – it is a beautiful shiny coin without any marks or imperfections. Any marks are caused by the photography lighting, reflections etc – mint condition. The lettering on the map is very clear but unfortunately my camera would not zoom in enough to show this. Finished in 24ct Gold. This coin is the exact shape, style and weight of a UK 50p and will sit perfectly with all the other rare collectable 50p coins such as kew gardens etc and will form a great part of a collection and look brilliant in an album. The last picture is for comparison and show the coin next to a standard circulated 50p coin. This is a rare item and is only available in limited quantities. It is a brand new coin for 2019 with only a scare few being available throughout the UK. This item is not legal tender and is sold purely as a commemorative.
