The shock arrestor has been specifically designed for hydraulic hammer arresting applications. The Shock Arrestor has a high grade butyl diaphragm which is sealed within the vessel creating a barrier between fluid and a compressible air chamber. The shock arrestor is best used at the point of shock and should be installed close to the valve or piping where the shock originates from.
