After studying music at the Conservatory in Nuremberg, he was successful as a musician, among other things, at the Bavarian State Theatre in Munich and at the State Theatre in Saarbrücken. In addition to a four-volume guitar school, numerous CD recordings of his over 500 compositions have appeared.
