How to make choice on correct files:
100/180 grit size – Sharp and rough.
100 grit is ideal for filling artificial nails like acrylic nails or poly nail, 180 grit is finer than 100 grit which is ok for both acrylic nail or thick natural nails according to your own feeling.
180/240 grit size – Fine.
Ideal for final touches on natural nails or softer faulty nails.
The higher grit it has, the smoother the surface it gets and will be more suitable for soft nails.
If you choose files for false nails (fake nails, acrylic nail, gel nail, dip powder)or your nails are very thick or tough, you can choose 100/180 grit.
For natural nails, you can go 180/240 directly.
