The bits are wax filled so there is no need for water (Although I recommend dipping them in a cup of water while drilling to preserve the life of the bit). Ideal for drilling in all tile types, including porcelain. Having been a bathroom Fitter for years I have found these M14 Grinder bits really are Excellent for drilling holes in the hardest possible tiles, using them in a Angle Grinder with a faster RPM means they make light work of drilling 6mm holes.
