The wall flange is attached to the wall to guide a ventilation duct through one wall into another room (wall feedthrough). The attachment to the wall stabilises the entire ventilation system. At the same time, the wall flat serves as a connector for two flat channels 220 x 55 mm. So it is not necessary to guide the flat channel through the wall, but a channel from both rooms is connected to the wall flange.
