The AirHed Cine is 3 Legged Thing’s first dedicated video head, designed to offer fluid-action and smooth motion on shoots whether you use a DSLR, mirrorless or standard video camera – the perfect companion for videographers and filmmakers. The AirHed Cine is powerful, compact and light, giving precision cinematography and tracking for any tripod that has a 3/8” male thread. It has a 360˚ panning range and an astonishing 165˚ adjustable, spring-balanced tilt mechanism, ranging from 90˚ down to 75˚ up, plus friction control for wonderfully smooth movement. Supporting up to 10kg, this tripod head has 2 different clamp and plate options – Arca Swiss for DSLR, mirrorless and users of long lenses with Arca shoes, or Standard Video for use with video cameras. We’ve designed the AirHed Cine with a knurled clamp knob for improved grip and leverage as well as in-built bubble levels in the clamp and base for precise levelling. The side of the head also includes a stainless steel 1/4”-20 screw thread for attachment of accessories such as articulated arms. With all this incredible technology, we’ve also included a removable panning arm that can be fitted either side of the head for left or right-handed use, offering maximum versatility for all users. Featuring a distinctive spider web design, the AirHed Cine is made from precision milled aerospace-grade magnesium alloys for a beautiful, sleek finish, built to enable travel and exploration – there’s a whole world out there to explore!
