  • REMAIN ACTIVE: The ACTIVIVAS Ortho Thumb Support stabilises the base thumb joint in a neutral, mid position whilst allowing the use of the thumb in every day tasks. This product does not support the wrist and does not fix the whole thumb in a set position. It specifically minimises movement at the base of the thumb (CMC-1 joint). If in doubt of suitability, please speak to your physiotherapist before purchasing this product.
  • EFFECTIVE RELIEF: The ACTIVIVAS Ortho Thumb Support limits the movement of the basal thumb joint in all directions, relieving thumb arthritis and pain associated with hypermobility or strained thumb basal joint. The mobility that is retained at the upper thumb joint allows the thumb to be engaged in many everyday tasks and aids recovery for post operative use cases.
  • FULLY TESTED: Referencing the Sollerman Hand Function test as guidance, our testing of the ACTIVIVAS Ortho Thumb Support include the 8 main hand grips plus use cases in work and recreation situations
  • COMFORT FITTING: The ACTIVIVAS Ortho Thumb Brace comes in left and right hand options, a fully adjustable strap and has an embedded metallic strip to customise the fit around the base of the thumb – please read the sizing guide carefully before ordering
  • SIZING GUIDANCE: The size selection is based on on the diameter of your palm. There is an overlap in palm diameter for each support size and generally speaking we find customers get better support when choosing the smallest size that will fit their palm.
