The Lord of the Rings: The Card Game is a collaborative Living Card Game set in Middle-earth, the fantastic world created by J.R.R. Tolkien. Players must form companies to embark on epic feats, travel through dangerous places and face fierce enemies such as orcs, giant spiders and the dreaded nazguls. Each player chooses up to three heroes and compose a deck of cards that represents their strengths, abilities, instruments and allies. During each round players can play allied and addition cards to upgrade heroes, target characters to certain feats, travel to different places in Middle-earth, or defend themselves against enemy attacks. Durin’s Dwarfs is a pre-built deck of 82 cards and contains: – A deck ready to play starring middwarfs of Middle-earth. Take advantage of their resistance in battle and discover new resources by digging into your deck! – The dwarf heroes Bifur, Ori and Dáin Piediferro. – Additional dwarf-centered cards, to use to upgrade and customize any deck.
