71 years ago the world went under… Pandemic Legacy — Season 2 is an epic, cooperative game. You do not play against each other, but the game plays against you. Your actions will affect later games: you change the game plan and the game material, get additional material and experience a continuous story. No two worlds will ever be the same.
The plague came out of nowhere and destroyed the world. Most died within a week. Nothing could stop them. The world did its best. It was not enough. For three generations, we have lived on floating islands that we call sanctuary. Away from disease, we can supply the mainland with supplies to protect the people left there – and thus also us – from being completely subjected.
We keep a bond of the biggest known cities alive. But this has become more and more difficult in recent years. Many more distant cities have fallen from our grid… tomorrow a small group of us will break up to find out how it is around the rest of the world. We don’t know what expects us.
Pandemic Legacy — Season 2 is a standalone game, you do not need Pandemic Legacy – Season 1, Pandemic or any of the expansion to play. The contents of the games with yellow and black box are identical.
