Our V2A 1.4301 steel is a wear-resistant tool steel, namely the further development of the original V2A 1.4300 steel. Our V2A steel (material 1.4301 / AISI 304) has 18% chrome and 10% nickel. It is therefore more resistant to short-term exposure to chlorinated substances (e.g. salt water) than conventional stainless steel without nickel content. This type of steel is also used in the production of pots and cutlery and is therefore completely harmless from the food point of view.
