How to set it up:
1. Plug the WLAN repeater into the outlet and turn it on, wait 2-3 minutes.
2. Connect to the SSID (wifi-xxxx, xxxx is the last 4 digits of the MAC address) through your mobile phone or laptop.
3. Use IP “192.168.188.1” to log in to the browser, enter the password “admin”, and click “Login”.
4. Select the host router’s SSID, enter the host router’s password, and click Connect. (Note: The host router name (SSID) cannot contain spaces, otherwise it will be invalid).
5. After the installation is completed, it will restart. Then you can connect the newly extended WiFi signal: wifi-xxxx-pro
How to reset:
1. After plugging the WiFi amplifier into the socket, wait 2-3 minutes (this step is very important), then use a paper clip to press the “reset” hole at the bottom of the product for 8-12 seconds, and then release.
2. Wait for the “Power” indicator light of the WiFi extender to light up, and then log in to the management interface again to set up.
Notice:
Place the wifi extender in the middle between routers (Note: 1. If it is too close to the router, the extended wifi signal cannot reach the dead zone. 2. If it is too far from the router, the wifi extender cannot receive the signal of the original router.)
