As a God of Destruction, Beerus cares little for other beings and often comes into conflict with the heroes because of this. He often threatens to destroy planets to get his way and has done so for small slights like being served greasy food. Beerus is incredibly powerful but is also lazy and playful, he is a gourmet who stocks his planet with all sorts of food, especially fish to sate his hunger at any time. While one of his duties is removing threats to the universe he has often been too lazy to do so, allowing threats like Frieza and Majin Buu to grow.
