Medicus city saddle with gel, the Grande Citta is an anatomically optimised saddle seat suitable for all standard touring and city bicycles with the anatomical Medicus 3 Zone design developed by Dr. Werlich for a secure hold and comfortable, relaxed sitting, even on long trails. For over 10 years he has been an instructor in the German-speaking Association for Arthroscopy and a member of the European Association of Sport Orthopaedics for 15 years. Together with Wittkop he developed the concept for this saddle. Balance Zone: in the front area the specific shape of the nose provides safety and control in the balance of the bike. Dynamic Zone: The middle zone with its spring anatomical triangular cut-out continues this concept under the altered anatomical conditions of a modified pelvic tilt. Seat Zone: in the rear zone there is firm cushioning with Dynamic Weight Adjustment, so that when the padding is functional, even in an upright seated position, a close contact with the bicycle is maintained, thanks to extra padding from the gel inserts
