Twin Wittkop Medicus saddle 1.0 with gel is an anatomically optimised saddle, which is specially designed for sporty trekking bicycles. The Medicus Twin concept is based on the analysis of the human body structure and the interaction with the range of motion during cycling. The five step design splits the saddle into 5 different padded zones, ensuring a high level of dynamic comfort. The increased padding on the back zone gives the seat bones a comfortable cushioning. Thanks to the special shaping of this zone, the pressure that arises due to pelvic rotation caused by movement is distributed over the entire seat area. This saddle was designed with the orthopaedist Dr. Torsten Werlich and is based on the proven Wittkop Medicus principle.
