Get Crafty and Have Fun Make your homemade food wraps by following these easy steps! Iron Method: Grate the beeswax bar and place it in a container. If you’re using our wax drop variant, you can skip this step! Prepare your ironing station and set your iron to low or medium heat. Place baking paper or a silicone mat on the surface of your ironing station. Place your pre-cut fabric on top of the baking paper or silicone mat. Sprinkle a good amount of beeswax shavings or drops on the fabric and cover with another baking paper or a silicone mat. Carefully iron the top of the baking paper to melt the wax on the fabric. Remove the top baking paper and go over the fabric with a brush to even out the wax. Remove the fabric, and let it air-dry for about 30 seconds. Repeat the process for the rest of your fabrics.
