Traditionally manufactured, hand-woven hammam towel from Turkey. The hammam bath towel, Turkish “Peshtemal”, is a traditional bath towel with many uses. Whether by the pool as a bath towel or as a scarf, plaid or as a tablecloth. The luxuriously soft and feather-light, highly absorbent cotton fabric, which also dries very quickly due to its rather loose weave, is characteristic of the ‘peshtemal’ style. The extra softness and above all the absorbency of the ‘peshtemal’ increase over time, which is why it is ideal as a bath towel or beach towel. When travelling, it impresses when folded in a suitcase, thanks to its small space requirement and also thanks to the elegant look when bathing. You will not want to miss this fine, soft fabric as it provides a cosy warmth when a fresh wind raises after a sunny day. In the home bathroom, the peshtemal offers a welcome change to the usual terry towelling and at the same time spreads a holiday atmosphere.
