In compressed air nebulisers a compressor produces compressed air (approximately 0.8 – 1.45 bar). This compressed air is directed by the air hose and a nozzle in the nebuliser on the inhalation to be nebulised. The air jet dissolves the particles of the inhalation and is mixed with additional air in the nebuliser. The inhalation is provided to the patient using a mask or mouthpiece. This technology is particularly recommended for very viscous medications. The wide range of accessories ensures optimal use and is also suitable for children.
