Rectangular plates made of sugar cane by BIOZOYG – we make the difference What makes sugarcane tableware so special? The rectangular disposable plates are ideal as eco-friendly party dishes. Our compostable tableware is made from the residual fibres that remain as a by-product from the squeezing of sugar cane in the sugar production. Instead of being disposed of, these residual fibres can also be further processed into the ‘pulp’. This fibre pulp can be used instead of wood-based cellulose, which otherwise must be grown separately, for the production of disposable packaging and disposable tableware. Sugar cane disposable dishes, also called bagasse tableware, can be used as an alternative to disposable plastic tableware and is certified biodegradable.
