Suitable to run waterfalls and filters, the Amphibious IQ pond pump combines low maintenance with high performance, efficiency and using its digital motor technology consumes around 30% less energy that similarly priced pumps.
Built in Motor Protection System – If the pump detects the motor is clogged or jammed the motor protection system will pause and display a warning on the digital display panel, “Motor jammed – clean impeller, clean rotor”. Built in Run Dry Protection System – If the pump detects is has run out of water, it will pause and display a warning on the digital display panel, “Water low – add water”. When sufficient water has been added the pump will safely restart.
Built in Flexible Power Usage Control & Display – With the touch of a button the user can stop, start, increase or decrease power and flow, thereby allowing for optimum performance and maximum energy saving.
Built in Soft Start technology – When the pump is turned on the flow will slowly increase to its pre-set position. This helps to reduce the wear on the pump whilst decreasing stress to the pipework and filters you have fitted to the system.
The Amphibious IQ can be placed anyway up whilst in the pond, its casing has equally distributed holes all the way around which ensures an even flow of water to the pump so should debris create a partial blockage the pump will continue to work. The impeller also has clear housing making it easy to check for possible blockages or damage without having to undo it. The Amphibious IQ pack contains a pump, controller, hose tails and a complete set of fittings.
This 4500-9000 model is adjustable from 30 watt to 60 watt, and water flow from 4,500 litres per hour to 8,700 litres per hour. Maximum pumping height for this model is 4.5 metres. To run a filter only we suggest this model is suitable for ponds up to 13,050 litres. As an example of waterfall expectations, this model is suitable to run a waterfall with width of 42cm at 1.5m. To run both a waterfall and filter together with this model your maximum pond capacity would be 7,650 litres.
