The Bresser SILK PLA filament material is manufactured as standard with a diameter tolerance of ± 0.2 mm, which allows the use not only for the Bresser 3D printer, but also supports silk PLA material with a 1.75 mm diameter for all third-party printers. Already during production, the material is monitored for the smallest impurities and therefore you get the consistent results. For optimal processing of the Silk PLA material during printing, we recommend an extruder processing temperature between 200 and 250 degrees. The optimal printing speed is between 60 to 90 mm/s. We recommend heating the construction platform to 40-50 degrees. Please make sure that the printer fan works properly and that the corresponding cleaning filter is used accurately.
