SeaDry Desiccants are high performing moisture absorbers which offer long lasting protection against condensation. SeaDry products reduce relative humidity levels by up to 50% significantly minimising the risk of condensation and moisture damage. SeaDry is primarily used for cargo transport and storage but can also be used around the home and in cars, garages, storage units caravans and boats. The pouches contains a mixture Calcium Chloride(Salt) and Modified Starch. Moisture is absorbed through the pouches moisture permeable topside which immediately binds to the salt and modified starch to form a gel eliminating any liquid. This combination is proven to be more effective than silica gel and desiccant clay. The outer packaging of the pouches are made from a PA/PE film and a Tyvek tear resistant material ensuring no leakages.
