It does not matter if the meat is being prepared on the grill or on stove or in oven- just insert the head of the temperature measuring probe in the cooked food and the base station connected with the temperature measuring probe will show the current temperature of food on the mobile hand receiver in short, regular intervals. When the desired cooking level is reached there is a signal tone and colour change on the display.
On the receiver you can choose eight types of meat: beef, lamb, veal, hamburger, porks, fish, turkey and chicken. You can also choose the cooking level from well through diverse intermediate levels up to rare (slightly cooked). But the target temperature may also be setup individually.

Please note: The response time varies depending on temperature change. If the temperature changes only marginally, the temperature change will be transmitted every 30 seconds. If it changes rapidly it will be transmitted every 2 seconds.
