How to use this 3.5-mm HDMI to HDMI VGA DVI audio Micro USB adapter: Connect the HDMI input port to your input device, such as decoders, computers, laptops, etc. Connect an HDMI, VGA or DVI cable to your output device such as projectors, monitors, TVs. Please note that you can only select one of the three ports to connect to your external viewing devices. If your HDMI output devices are monitors or projectors that do not have built-in audio or speakers, connect the 3.5-mm audio cable from the adapter to external speakers for audio. If you connect VGA or DVI output devices, you also have to connect a 3.5-mm audio cable to your external speakers for audio. In case your input devices do not have enough power, you can connect the Micro USB cable of the adapter to your USB devices for power supply. Compatible devices: decoders, computers, laptops and most HDMI input devices. Also compatible with monitors, projectors, TVs and other output devices equipped with an HDMI VGA or DVI port. Important notes for use: The adapter can only be connected to one monitor at a time. You cannot connect more than one monitor to the output signal. The HDMI port and the DVI port are compatible with the 4K2K output signal. However, if you want to broadcast 4K2K video, you have to use a 4K cable, 4K source and 4K monitor. HDMI, VGA or DVI cables are not included in the box contents. Not all VGA and DVI cables connected to your output device will transmit audio. Use the 3.5-mm audio port on the adapter to get audio.
