Canson “C” à grain is a high-quality cartridge paper for professional use. This paper has a grammage of 250 g/m². Thanks to its fine grain, it is ideal for drawing. It is neither too smooth nor too outstanding, so both relief effects and finely balanced results can be achieved. The drawing paper is ideal for colour gradations. The incorporated fibre inclusions in different colours support relief effects and create depth. It is made exclusively of alpha cellulose, is lignin free and therefore does not yellow. Cartridge paper is acid-free, ISO 9706 compliant and free from optical brighteners so colours will not fade over time. In addition, the ochre yellow mottled drawing paper has a core and surface bonding for a high resistance. It can withstand erasing and scratching without hurting the surface. Suitable for all dry techniques, such as crayon, graphite pencil or charcoal. The cardboard on the back provides enough stability to use the pad on the go. Therefore, “C” à grain is suitable for drawings in the studio as well as in nature. The drawing pad in DIN A3 format contains 30 sheets.
