The Chambers Natural Tick Repellent is a product which has to be applied before each walk. REVISED INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE: This tick repellent is non-toxic and the minimum dosages given below are to provide a guide for effective protection. Small breeds (eg Yorkshire Terrier) Gently shake and spray once the back of the neck and once above the dog’s tail. Medium breeds (eg Beagle) Gently shake and spray once the back of the neck, once above the dog’s tail and once on each side of the body. Large breeds (eg Labrador) Gently shake and spray once the back of the neck, once above the dog’s tail and twice on each side of the body. * If your dog is nervous about being sprayed near the head, you can spray its collar before putting it on. Ticks locate their host by using their sense of smell. They also detect the carbon dioxide dogs breathe out, detect movement and changes in temperature. This natural tick repellent is designed to throw ticks off the scent by using smells they do not like. The MSM sulphur enhances this effect.
