Protect your horse’s hooves with these durable and comfortable wool felt hoof pad inserts. Designed for use with hoof boots, these pads provide cushioning and support to help prevent bruising and soreness. Made from high-quality 15mm thick wool felt, they mould to the shape of your horse’s hoof for a snug and secure fit. They offer ample padding without adding excessive weight. Easy to trim to size, these inserts are a versatile solution for horses of all sizes. Breathable and moisture-wicking, they help with the healing process. Please note that these are inserts only and should be used in conjunction with compatible hoof boots (not included).
Directions
Like insoles for humans, if you’re wanting to use these for cushioning, you simply have to trim these to size and pop into your horses boot. The grippy, fibrous surface of the wool will simply grip onto the rubber of the inside of the boot. Wool is also naturally compressive, meaning it will gently and evenly conform to the horses frog and hoof shape, dispersing pressure. Ensure you trim the hoof pad to a size where it fits snugly inside the boot, it doesn’t move about, so it can sit across the hoof flat without bunching.
