  • The new measure of all things among the professional hand mills for coffee – with the C40 Nitro Blade Comandante has improved its proven quality. The grinding mechanism of the new mill is made entirely of stainless steel, which is produced in a patented process. The result: an extremely durable material in knife steel quality.
  • The edges of the grinding discs are sharpened again after hardening and “cut” the coffee beans. Thanks to the unique grinding mechanism the mill produces an extremely precise and homogeneous grinding result with almost no fines over all grinding levels.
  • The power transmission during grinding is optimal, a double ball bearing makes the crank smooth running. Here, too, it turns out that professionals are at work. Comandante’s development team relies on material expertise and attention to detail. The result is a hand mill “Made in Germany”, which convinces with finely tuned technique.
  • The heart of this mill is the grinding mechanism with high-nitrogen-containing martensitic stainless steel with high hardness (approx. 58 Rockwell) and high toughness for high edge retention. Extremely sharp, individually sharpened Z blades after hardening. Newly developed grinder geometry. Very homogeneous grinding result. Grinding speed approx. 1 bean/rotation
  • Encapsulated, double bearing axle with stainless steel ball bearings. Removable oak crank knob and fastened to the crank by means of a push lock. Securing the crank on the axle by means of a magnetic connection. All plastic parts made of Eastman Tritan copolyester
