BG MQ Sea Spinning Reel

With the BG Monocoque reel, Daiwa introduces the next generation of the incredibly strong and tough BG reels.
Thanks to the MQ design, the drive wheel can be supersized up to 20 to 40 percent compared to conventional Spinning reels (depending on the model size).
As a result, the power transmission and lifespan are significantly increased.
In addition, the teeth at the drive wheel are enlarged which leads to better durability and also prolongs the lifespan.
The distortion proof aluminum body produces an optimal housing for the gear system and it ensures permanent smooth running.
Depending on the size, the BG MQ reels are the proper choice for medium to heavy spin fishing in fresh water, particularly for heavy lures and long term use.
And they are also suitable for extreme sea fishing for tuna and GT.
Sizes 6000 and 10000 are powerhouses appropriate for medium heavy as well as heavy fishing in Norway for large cods and halibut.
Drag power: 2500 and 3000: 10 kilograms, 4000 to 6000: 12 kilograms, 8000 and 10000: 15 kilograms, 20000: 20 kilograms
From size 6000 on, the bail is turned by hand.
