She found that children of all ages want to be more hands on with nature. Wildlife World invented the Birdie Bistro several years ago and sold it with a ready formed block of bird food which often broke depending on how the bird had pecked at it. The block sometimes ended up on the ground. Fast forward and working with Dan they created the DIY Birdie Bistro.
Directions
1. Gather ingredients and tools for bird food recipe. 2. Follow Dan’s recommended bird food recipe on the reverse side of the packaging. 3. Mix ingredients in the food mould made from recycled plastic. 4. Allow the mixture to set in the mould. 5. Place the set bird food into the wooden holder. 6. Hang the feeder in a suitable location for birds to access. 7. Clean and maintain the feeder as needed.
