With your router you can use virtually all types of cutters by simply replacing the collets. This applies to routers of all manufacturers. With affordable models, only one collet is often included. To use tools with other shaft diameters, it is sufficient to purchase additional collet or adaptor. Note: small and medium routers can accommodate collet with a diameter of 6 mm, 6.35 mm and 8 mm. Those with a diameter of 12.7 mm are only compatible with large routers. The best collets currently available on the market are the models with low oblique. Unfortunately, they do not fit all machines.
