  • Splicing boxes are overly installed in the network cabinet to bundle the fibre optic cables that run there – comparable to a patch panel for copper installation cables.
  • In the network cabinet, the signal of the fibre optic cable can be patched to switch, media converter, router, modem, server, SFP modules or FTTH / FTTB home input sockets.
  • The fibre pigtails used are colour-contrasting according to DIN IEC 60304 and inserted into the splicing cassette(s).
  • As the housing material, 1 mm thick sheet steel is used, which is painted or powder coated in the colour grey (RAL 7035).
  • The splicing box is already pre-cut – a equipped splicing cassette and corresponding couplings for the front plate are already installed.
