The Dimplex KNS20BR Kansas 2kW electric inset fire uses patented Optiflame technology, allowing you to create the feeling of warmth all year round.
Optiflame is a unique means of generating realistic, simulated flames from an electric source and creates the illusion of flames emanating from the centre of an enhanced depth fuel bed, promising to provide a warming glow to any room.
The concealed fan heater emits a powerful 2kW of heat which features two heat settings, and can be controlled via the panel beneath the canopy. The Optiflame effect can alternatively be operated independently from heat creating a beautiful focal point in your living room throughout the year and an instant feel of cosiness.
The Kansas inset fire is easy to install and has been designed to fit standard 16” and 18” fireplace openings and all convectional flues. If desired, the fire can be used flat-to-wall using a Dimplex spacer (SPA-OF1) which is available to purchase separately.
Safe for every home, the KNS20BR has been fitted with a safety cut-out system which turns the heater off when it gets too hot so you can be reassured that there’s no danger of it overheating. It has also been rigorously tested to BEAB standards and comes with a 1 year manufactures guarantee.
The power cord is 1.5m in length, and the fire requires an LED bulb.
